Ingredients
- Bread
- Butter
- 1 lb of grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1 Dozen Eggs
- 2 Cups of Whole Milk
- ½ tsp of dry Mustard
- Dash of Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. If made in a glass casserole dish – go on and place in oven while it’s preheating so your cold dish doesn’t crack.
- Cut crust from bread (we use French Bread and do not cut off the crust)
- Butter one side of the bread and place the buttered side down
- Place grated cheddar cheese on top of the bread
- Cut bacon into pieces and place on top of the cheese
- Mix eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper
- Pour into pan
- Refrigerate overnight
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour
