How To File A Claim

Claim Reporting Information:

Old Republic Surety Group writes various types of fidelity bonds in all 50 states.  This makes it impractical to list the information needed to support every type of claim that may be asserted. 

In general, we request a narrative that explains the circumstances surrounding your claim and the employee or employees that are alleged to be involved.  If a police report has been filed, please provide our office with a copy of that report. 

Upon receipt of a notice of claim, the matter is assigned to a claims adjustor and a claim file is established. The adjustor will be in contact with you regarding any forms that will be required or any additional information that is needed. Old Republic Surety Company may require additional information or documentation as the investigation progresses and will be requested as needed.

As every claim situation is unique, it is impractical to determine, at the outset, how long an investigation will take.  Various states have regulations regarding the investigation of claims. Old Republic Surety Company policy is to meet or exceed all state regulations regarding the fair and equitable handling of claims.
