Commercial Bond Underwriter – Portland, OR
Analyzes bond submissions and renewals for miscellaneous and fidelity bonds, and processes accordingly. Knowledge of contract business desired to assist with financial analysis. Underwrites within authority limits assigned for the territory, which includes Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Western Idaho. This underwriter works in the Portland office and reports to the territory’s Bond Manager. In order to succeed, this position requires several years of experience underwriting commercial (non-contract) business, including fidelity. Excellent communication skills, self motivation, and strong attention to detail are critical.
Contract Underwriter – Atlanta, GA
Based in our Atlanta, GA office, this position analyzes contract bond renewals and submissions and underwrites commercial business within authority limits primarily in Georgia and Alabama. The Contract Underwriter reports to the Regional Manager of the Southeast Region. In order to succeed, this position requires a self-motivated, seasoned underwriter with several years of contract and commercial underwriting experience in the surety bond industry, strong communication skills, and knowledge of the territory's business climate.
Contract Underwriter – Phoenix, AZ
Based in the Phoenix area of Arizona, this position analyzes contract bond renewals and submissions and underwrites commercial business within authority limits primarily in Arizona and New Mexico. The Contract Underwriter reports to the Bond Manager of the Phoenix office. In order to succeed, this position requires a self-motivated, seasoned underwriter with several years contract (and some commercial) underwriting experience in the surety bond industry, strong communication skills, and knowledge of the territory's business climate. Periodic travel within the territory is required.
Field Underwriter - Texas
Makes marketing calls to agents and visits contractors throughout assigned territory in Texas. Underwrites within authority limits to produce new surety business, increase growth, and meet various bond production goals. The position reports to the Director of the Southern Region in Dallas. In order to succeed, this position requires a self-motivated person with several years of field marketing and both contract and commercial underwriting experience in the surety bond industry, strong communication and marketing skills, knowledge of the territory’s business climate and ability to travel each day, with periodic overnight stays.
